Hydrographic Surveys with Zodiac Boat and Horizon Standard Depth Sounder.

Radar hyperbolic returns are reflected from objects under the ground by the 400 mHz or 120 mHz antenna.  3-D maps can be formed by repeated slicings, using Radan software.

Surface features are mapped by GPS, using laser location to accurately locate objects.  The LaserTech Criterion 400 Forestry Laser permits optical fork measurement of tree diameter.  Trimble software, using custom data dictionaries designed by Earth Image, allows collection of attributes such as species, size and condition for inclusion in municipal and private GIS databases or tree inventories in a variety of formats, including ArcView, DXF, and MS-Access .
